Fairfield Woman Salome Godinez Killed in Abernathy Road Hit and Run Crash, Marcos Manuel Guzman Arrested
FAIRFIELD, CA (March 14, 2021) – Friday night, Fairfield woman Salome Godinez, 60, died in a hit-and-run accident on Abernathy Road near Rockville Road.
According to reports, the deadly crash occurred at about 6:00 p.m. Moreover, it happened near Abernathy Road and Rockville Road.
At the time, the circumstances that led up to the crash seemed unclear. Thus, the California Highway Patrol continued to investigate the incident.

CHP officials later revealed they located a suspected drunk driver with a suspended license in a vehicle with front-end damage.
Marcos Manuel Guzman is now being held any Napa County for charges of felony hit-and-run and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
Ultimately, the Solano County Coroner’s office revealed the victim in this fatal hit and run as 60-year-old Godinez.
