Injuries Reported in San Diego Auto Accident on 4500 Mission Bay Drive
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 6, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, a salesman suffered injuries in a test driving crash on 4500 Mission Bay Drive.
The incident occurred at around 1:30 p.m. in the 4500 block of Mission Bay Drive, said the San Diego Police.
According to police, a 54-year-old man test driving a 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning shifted into drive, causing the truck to “abruptly launch forward” in the parking lot.
The vehicle struck a 31-year-old salesman, who was subsequently hospitalized with a skull fracture and brain bleed.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
