2 Pickup Trucks Collide on Highway 50 in Sacramento, Injuries Reported
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 16, 2018) – Three people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon on eastbound Highway 50 at 34th Street.
The crash happened around 1:49 p.m. involving a white Ford Ranger and a red Ford F150.
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available, but three occupants were injured as a result of the accident. The patients were taken by ambulance to UC Davis Medical Center in unknown conditions.
The Ford F150 was reportedly not drivable and was towed away from the scene along with the Ford Ranger.
Sacramento fire crews blocked the first and second lanes of the highway while the rescue operation was being conducted.
The cause of this crash remains under investigation.
