Two Cars Collide on Highway 50 in Sacramento Sending One to Hospital
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 15, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a two-car crash on Highway 50.
The crash happened around 10:35 p.m. Wednesday on the eastbound direction of the highway at Watt Avenue on-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a dark BMW sedan and a brown sedan collided, sending one of the cars into the center divider.
Officers arrived and located one driver, wearing red sweatpants and Boston Red Sox hat, outside of the vehicle.
One patient was taken to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but both cars were towed away from the crash site.
No additional information was provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
