Van Involved in Head-On Collision on Roseville Road in Sacramento, Injuries Reported

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 4, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a head-on crash Saturday morning in Sacramento.
 
The crash happened just before 8:00 a.m. at Roseville Road and Elkhorn Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray van collided head-on with another vehicle for unknown reasons. The impact sent one vehicle into a ditch.
 
One occupant was reportedly injured as a result of the accident. An ambulance unit arrived soon after and took the patient to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
Towing services remove both vehicles from the crash site.
 
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
