Pickup Truck and Sedan Collide on Vista Avenue in Sacramento, Major Injuries Sustained
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 5, 2019) – One person was badly injured following a two-vehicle collision early Sunday morning in Sacramento.
The collision happened around 12:31 a.m. at 5900 Vista Avenue near 37th Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a red Honda Civic and a red Mazda pickup truck collided. One of the vehicles went through a fence, then struck a tree and a house.
One occupant suffered major injuries as a result of the accident. Paramedics took the patient to UC Davis Medical Center in an unknown condition.
The specific cause of the crash and who may be at fault remain under investigation.
