Rider Killed in Evening Motorcycle Collision at Q and 26th Streets
SACRAMENTO, CA (April 9, 2019) – An unidentified motorcyclist was killed following a collision on Q Street Tuesday evening, near 26th Street.
To begin, the fatal collision happened around 7:00 p.m., at the intersection of Q Street and 26th Street. First responders arrived to the area shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
Authorities say the rider was traveling east on Q Street when he collided with a northbound car. The details leading up to the accident are currently unknown.
The paramedics were also immediately called for needed medical attention. The rider consequently suffered fatal injuries as a result of the impact. Due to the extent of his wounds, the motorcyclist was later pronounced dead on scene.
Furthermore, police said no one else was injured in the crash.
Moreover, it’s also still unknown if speed, alcohol and/or drugs were involved. No more information has been released at this time.
