Motorcycle and Jeep Collide near 12th Avenue in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 10, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized following a traffic collision Friday afternoon in Sacramento.
The collision happened around 1:25 p.m., on northbound Highway 99. Dispatchers arrived just South of 12th Avenue exit shortly after.
CHP officials said a white Jeep was changing lanes when it collided with a motorcycle. The impact consequently sent the rider off the right shoulder as a result.
Paramedics responded to the scene and took the rider to UC Davis Medical Center for further treatment. He was sent with unspecified injuries.
The motorcycle was towed away from the scene, due to the extent of damage.
It is currently unknown if charges has been filed. Liability has not yet been determined at this time. Further investigation is underway.
