Afternoon Crash on Highway 99 in Sacramento Sends Two People to Hospital
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 16, 2018) – Two people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon on northbound Highway 99 at 12th Avenue.
The collision happened around 3:39 p.m. involving a white Toyota Prius sedan and a red van.
When officers arrived, both vehicles were blocking the fourth and slow lanes. Two parties sustained injuries from the crash and were taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment.
The Acura was towed away from the collision scene.
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident.
