Late Evening Hit-and-Run Collision on Highway 99 in Sacramento, Major Injuries Sustained
SACRAMENTO, CA (November 27, 2018) – Two people were badly injured following a hit-and-run crash late Tuesday evening in Sacramento.
The crash happened around 11:12 p.m. on northbound Highway 99 at 12th Avenue off-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver sedan and a white vehicle were involved. One of the cars was trying to turn onto 32nd Street when it collided with the other vehicle. The impact caused the silver sedan to crash into a sound wall on the right shoulder of the off-ramp.
Sacramento police and emergency crews responded to the scene and located two people with major injuries. Both patients were taken to a hospital in unknown conditions.
One of the drivers reportedly fled the scene after the crash.
