Ryan Senior Killed in Broadside Crash on Sunrise Boulevard [RANCHO CORDOVA, CA]

Christmas Eve Crash at Sunrise Boulevard and Fitzgerald Road Kills One

 
RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (December 24, 2019) – A man died in broadside crash Tuesday morning at an intersection in Rancho Cordova, officials said.
 
The crash happened around 7:00 a.m. at Sunrise Boulevard and Fitzgerald Road.
 
According to the sheriff’s office, one vehicle ran a red light and broadsided another. As a result, the man in the vehicle that was hit was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
 
Despite life-saving efforts, that man did not survive and was declared dead. The Sacramento County Coroner identified him 48-year-old Ryan Senior.
 
The sheriff’s office said a man and a child in the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
 
No arrests have been at this time, but the fatal crash remains under investigation.
