Ryan Milliner Fatally Struck in Collision on 10 Freeway in Baldwin Park
Baldwin Park, CA (May 11, 2020) – On Sunday afternoon, Ryan Milliner died and six others sustained injuries in a multi-car crash on the 10 Freeway.
The crash occurred around 1:40 p.m. on May 10. Dispatchers sent emergency personnel to the San Bernardino 10 Freeway in Baldwin Park.
When CHP arrived at the scene, officer Stephan Brandt confirmed the location of the incident, near the Francisquito Avenue off-ramp.
Firefighters also reported that there at least 6 vehicles collided in the multi-car crash incident. However,the number increased to 10 vehicles in later reports.
Furthermore, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office released the name of the victim who sustained fatal injuries in the accident. 13-year-old Ryan Milliner died at the scene.
Five lanes were later shut down as a result of the multi-vehicle collision. Moreover, a SigAlert was requested and implemented around 2:22 p.m. However, CHP said that by 5:49 p.m., lanes were later reopened.
