Officers Investigate Moses Lake Hit-and-Run DUI Collision
Moses Lake, WA (September 8, 2023) – On Saturday, three people were injured and the authorities arrested 57-year-old Russell Fenwick of Fremont, Ohio, following an Interstate 90 collision.
Investigating officers said Fenwick was traveling along the freeway east of Moses Lake when his vehicle crashed with another vehicle with three occupants.
The three people from the other vehicle incurred minor injuries.
Fenwick, on the other hand, dashed into a nearby cornfield on foot hoping he could get away.
Responding officers were able to follow a trail of cash and receipts that led them to Fenwick. They found him hiding in a cornfield near Road West Southeast and South Frontage Road.
Meanwhile, officers located open beer containers in the center console of his vehicle.
