1 Dead in Menifee Pedestrian Accident on Highway 74
MENIFEE, CA (January 10, 2020) – A 27-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident on eastbound Highway 74 on January 7.
The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office revealed that 27-year-old Ruperto Baiza of Romoland got struck and killed at 8:08 p.m. on eastbound Highway 74 just west of McKinley Road.
Meanwhile, the driver involved in the crash stopped and cooperated with the investigation. Authorities also ruled out drugs and alcohol as a factor in the collision, Deputy Robyn Flores of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department revealed.
