Rudy Bonilla Killed in Two-Car Crash on La Sierra Avenue [Riverside, CA]

31-Year-Old Killed, 1 Injured in Auto Accident near Lake Crest Drive in Riverside

 
Riverside, CA (April 9, 2020)– Wednesday morning, 31-year-old Rudy Bonilla was killed, while another sustained injuries in a car crash on La Sierra Avenue.
 
CHP first received calls around 7:00 a.m., on April 8. First responders arrived to the area near Lake Crest Drive, shortly after.
 
Two unidentified cars were reportedly involved in the accident. However, the events leading up to the two-vehicle crash remain unclear.
 
Bonilla was reportedly trapped inside his vehicle following the impact. As a result, authorities extricated him and pronounced him dead on scene.
 
Moreover, the other victim sustained minor injuries, and was immediately aided. However, there has been no update on their current condition.
 
The surrounding area on La Sierra Avenue was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. The roadway has since reopened to traffic.
