59-Year-Old Bicyclist Killed in El Monte Hit-and-Run Crash
El Monte, CA (March 24, 2022) – On March 22, 59-year-old Ruben Vicario of El Monte sustained fatal injuries in a Lower Azusa Road hit-and-run crash.
The collision took place at the intersection with El Monte Avenue.
Officer say a vehicle struck Vicario while he was riding a bicycle and left him dead on the scene.
Investigators described the involved vehicle as a 2019 to 2021 dark-red or burgundy Toyota sedan with front-end damage.
