Ruben Navarro Dies In Mariposa Road Head-On Collision [Victorville, CA]

Victorville, CA (November 19, 2022) – On Wednesday, 25-year-old Ruben Navarro of Victorville died while others were injured in a Mariposa Road head-on collision.

The fatal collision took place at about 8:13 p.m. near the Scandia Family Fun Center involving a silver 2018 Hyundai Sonata, a silver 2018 Dodge Ram, and a white 2014 Nissan Altima.

Sheriff’s officials stated that Navarro was driving a northbound Hyundai on Mariposa Road when he drove into the oncoming traffic at about 80 mph. His vehicle collided with a 2018 Dodge Ram and then a 2014 Nissan Altima.

The Victorville Fire Department along with American Medical Response immediately responded to the scene and declared Ruben Navarro dead.

Meanwhile, the paramedics rushed the occupants of the Dodge Ram to an area hospital with minor injuries. The occupants of the Nissan Altima, on the other hand, did not sustain injuries.

According to the officials investigating the fatal crash near the Scandia Family Fun Center, drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the accident.
