Ruben Anaya Dead in Semi Truck Crash on Famoso-Porterville Highway in Bakersfield

 
Bakersfield, CA (January 11, 2021) – Sunday night, 32-year-old McFarland man Ruben Anaya died after a rear-end crash on Famoso-Porterville Highway.
 
Moreover, the Bakersfield fatal crash happened at about 8:29 p.m on January 10, at Driver Road.
 
CHP officers said the 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck headed south on Driver Road, where he failed to stop a stop sign and hit the back of a 2013 Freightliner truck.
 
The truck then travelled south on Driver Road, entering the intersection from the stop sign.
 
The McFarland driver sustained fatal injuries while the two truck occupants sustained minor injuries.
 
Moreover, CHP said alcohol is suspected to be a factor in this Famoso-Porterville Highway crash.
