Oakland Hills Car Crash Killed Roy Woo
Oakland Hills, CA (September 18, 2020) – On Thursday, 42-year-old Roy Woo of Oakland died, while a 39-year-old man was injured in a car crash on Skyline Boulevard.
The accident happened at about 10:11 p.m. in the 11700 block area wherein their car crashed into some trees.
The coroner’s office said Woo was the passenger. Also, it has been noted that the two were friends.
Moreover, Oakland police traffic Officer Tim Delavega said the two men were in a 2020 BMW M340i traveling eastbound on Skyline. It left the roadway and crashed into a dirt embankment and multiple trees.
Authorities pronounced Woo dead at the scene. On the other hand, the rescuers took the driver to a hospital where he was treated and released.
Meanwhile, police have yet determined if speed, or alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash. As they are still investigating the incident.
