Marks Avenue Traffic Crash Kills 68-Year-Old Man
Fresno County, CA (January 18, 2023) – On Tuesday morning, Roy Paniagua, 68, of Fresno, sustained fatal injuries in an Ashlan Avenue pedestrian accident.
The fatal collision took place at about 5:45 a.m. in the area of Marks Avenue.
According to the authorities, the driver of a vehicle was eastbound on Ashlan Avenue on a green light when Paniagua walked out in front of her. She saw Paniagua at the last minute and attempted to swerve but was unable to.
The responding medical team rushed Paniagua to Community Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
