Roy Diamond of Moses Lake Dies in Interstate 90 Collision [Silver Lake, WA]

Silver Lake, WA (January 11, 2024) – 30-year-old Roy Diamond of Moses Lake was killed while another driver was injured in an Interstate 90 collision Thursday morning.

The two-vehicle crash occurred around 5:45 a.m. near Salnave Road. 

WSP officers said a car driven by Diamond was eastbound when it suddenly crossed into westbound lanes and struck a pickup truck head-on.

The rescuers rushed Diamond and the other driver to Sacred Heart but Diamond died while on the way. 

In the meantime, officers are investigating and do not believe drugs and alcohol were factors in the collision.
