Rose Willy Dead in Escondido Car Accident on Interstate 15
ESCONDIDO, CA (October 15, 2020) – Early Wednesday, 21-year-old Rose Willy died in a crash on Interstate 15 near Felicita County Park in Escondido, California.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 4:30 a.m. Furthermore, it occurred on Interstate 15 near Felicita County Park.
Moreover, Officer Mark Latulippe revealed that a silver Honda CRV driven by Ms. Willy’s wife headed south through Escondido. However, the vehicle struck the rear side of a truck going in the same direction.
Afterward, the SUV veered out of control and overturned. Eventually, it came to rest across the two right-hand lanes of the 15 Freeway, south of Ninth Avenue.
Responders pronounced Rose, riding on the passenger side of the Honda, dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the 44-year-old male truck driver from Moreno Valley and the 23-year-old Escondido female driver of the SUV suffered no injuries following the incident.
Furthermore, the incident blocked lanes of the freeway until about 7:00 a.m., Latulippe added.
