Rose Avenue Accident Kills Male Pedestrian [Fresno County, CA]

Fresno County, CA (August 19, 2022) – On Thursday, a male pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in a Rose Avenue accident.

It was about 9:50 p.m. when the fatal incident took place in the 11000 block area.

Officers are still investigating why the man was walking on the road. Also, there is no information on where he was going to or from.

“At this location, it’s extremely dark out if you are walking as a pedestrian you have to stay off the roadway and be advised it’s very dark out here and very hard to see,” CHP Officer Anthony Simonian says.

Moreover, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.  

Officers are still investigating if drugs or alcohol played a role in the Rose Avenue accident.
