Coping With Fatal Pedestrian Accident
It is clear now more than ever that one person’s negligence can have devastating effects on other individuals. This is quite common in accidents that result in death.
Thus, it is crucial that the bereaved become aware that they have the authority to file a wrongful death suit. A wrongful death suit allows families to hold parties liable for the irrevocable damages they have caused.
Depending on the scale of events/ depending on the type of situation, settlements can be anywhere from several hundred thousand dollars to tens of millions of dollars.
Moreover, according to NHTSA, pedestrian and bicyclist fatalities continue to rise in the United States. More pedestrians and cyclists were killed in 2018 than in any year since 1990.
