Rosa Valencia Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Cypress Street [LA HABRA, CA]

46-Year-Woman Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Cypress Street in La Habra

 
LA HABRA, CA (January 27, 2020) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian crash Monday morning in La Habra.
 
The fatal crash happened around 7:38 a.m. at Cypress Street and La Habra Boulevard.
 
Police responded to the scene and administered CPR on the injured woman. Firefighters and paramedics arrived and transported the patient to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange.
 
Tragically, the victim did not survive and was declared dead at 8:54 a.m. the same day. The Orange County Sheriff Coroner identified her as Rosa Valencia, 46, of La Habra.
 
A GoFundMe page has been established to help with funeral expenses.
 
Meanwhile, the La Habra man who was driving the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated the investigation.
