Injuries Reported in Milepost 224 Fatal Crash
Andrews County, TX (June 26, 2024) – 53-year-old Rosa Pulgar Granado of Odessa was killed following a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 128 Monday night.
It was about 7:22 p.m. when the four-vehicle collision happened at milepost 224.
Troopers said a GMC Sierra driven by Herman Olivas, 29, of Andrews, a Ram 2500 driven by Irvin Perez, 35, of Midland, a Ford F-150 driven by Ashton McCarty, 23, of Cleveland, and a Kia Optima driven by Pulgar Granado, were involved in the fatal collision.
According to investigating officers, the eastbound GMC Sierra failed to control its speed and rear-ended the Kia Optima.
The Kia Optima then collided with the F-150 which also struck the Ram 2500.
Sadly, Granado was killed at the scene.
Olivas incurred minor injuries while McCarty and Perez were not injured.
Officers are still investigating this traffic accident.
