200th Street East Accident Kills 68-Year-Old Woman
Lancaster, CA (February 2, 2023) – On Tuesday, a 68-year-old woman from Riverside lost her life in an Avenue J accident involving Rosa Alvarenca, 52, of Barstow.
The fatal incident took place at around 7:45 p.m. at 200th Street East.
According to the investigating officers, the woman was standing in front of her stopped 2004 Toyota and was partially blocking the eastbound and westbound traffic lanes of Avenue J.
She was struck by a westbound 2011 Ford driven by Rosa Alvarenca on Avenue J.
Unfortunately, the 68-year-old woman lost her life at the accident scene.
Moreover, Rosa Alvarenca stayed at the crash scene. She and her 56-year-old passenger, Maria Rodriguez of Barstow, did not sustain injuries in the 200th Street East accident.
