Ronald Fuote Fatally Injured after Malibu Pedestrian Crash on Pacific Coast Highway
MALIBU, CA (October 2, 2019) — A 76-year-old Calabasas resident identified as Ronald Fuote died in a pedestrian crash on Friday, September 27.
According to sheriff’s and county fire officials, the collision occurred at about 7:20 p.m. in the 21300 block of Pacific Coast Highway.
A nurse who was at the scene reported that the pedestrian had no pulse, a fire department dispatcher stated.
Lieutenant Jennifer Seetoo of the Lost Hills station stated that the driver remained in the area. There was no evidence that alcohol played a role in the incident.
Officials shut down all lanes of Pacific Coast Highway. A report from the scene around 8:30 p.m. showed traffic moving on one lane in either direction.
