Indio, CA (May 28, 2021) – On Thursday, a wrong-way male driver, Ronald Cook, died and several people were injured in Avenue 42 head-on crash.
 
The fatal crash took place after 7 a.m. west of Jackson Street, wherein three vehicles were involved.
 
The driver was driving against traffic in the eastbound lanes when his car hit a pickup truck head-on. Then, the truck jolted backward into a car behind it.
