38-Year-Old San Pablo Man Identified as Victim in Fatal Motorcycle Crash
VALLEJO, CA (June 10, 2019) – Authorities identified 38-year-old Romeo Gonzalez of San Pablo as the motorcyclist killed in a collision near 4th Street.
According to the Vallejo Police Department, the incident happened on Railroad Avenue, at about 10:50 AM. A 2008 Infiniti G35 attempted to make a U-turn in the intersection when a 2002 Honda CB900F drove left and crossed the double yellow line. There, Gonzalez collided with the vehicle.
Unfortunately, Gonzalez succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. Meanwhile, his 27-year-old passenger suffered moderate injuries and required hospitalization. Emergency responders also transported the 32-year-old Infiniti driver with major injuries. Updates on their current conditions remain undisclosed.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fatal crash. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
