Roman Lugoaceves Killed by Off-Road Vehicle at Dumont Dunes
The Mojave Desert, CA (April 04, 2021) On Saturday, 47-year-old Roman Jose Lugoaceves from Long Beach was fatally struck by an off-road vehicle at the Dumont Dunes.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and San Bernardino County Fire Department (SBCFire), the incident was reported around 12:36 p.m. at the Dumont Dunes Recreation Area.
Moreover, authorities say that they receive a report of a pedestrian fatally struck by an off-road vehicle.
Meanwhile, medical responders pronounced Lugoaceves dead at the scene around 1:40 p.m.
The CHP is conducting an additional investigation to find the reason for the Dumont Dunes Recreation Area crash.
