Horrific Rollover Crash on Highway 99 Injures 3 People [Chico, CA]

Chico, CA (March 23, 2024) On Friday, 3 people suffered minor injuries after a rollover crash on Highway 99.

According to the CHP, the 2-vehicle collision happened on northbound Highway 99.

Reports say that 2 vehicles were merging from the Skyway to Highway 99 when a white Ford crossed onto the opposite lane while trying to pass another car in the fast lane.

Officials say that the driver of the Ford lost control of the vehicle in the gravel and when it turned back into the fast lane, the Ford collided with a GMC Yukon.

The impact of the crash caused the GMC to roll over multiple times. Medics say that 3 occupants from the GMC sustained minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating the 2-vehicle collision.
