Police Investigate Rollover Crash on Highway 36 in Maple Grove

Maple Grove, CA (November 27, 2024) –  A rollover crash on Highway 36 prompted an emergency response to the scene.

According to scanner traffic, on the afternoon of November 27, a 911 caller relayed that a sedan-type vehicle had flipped near the 19000 block of Highway 36 near Church Street, west of Swain’s Flat.

Extrication was requested as a precaution due to the report of the rollover collision, however, it was unknown at that time if occupants remained in the vehicle or if any injuries were sustained in the collision.

However, once emergency personnel arrived on scene, an air-ambulance was requested, indicating the need for expedited medical treatment. 

CAL FIRE Copter 914 has been dispatched to a landing zone set up at the Bridgeville School.

The CHP Traffic Incident Information page indicates that the vehicle is partially blocking the roadway. Please use caution if driving in the area.
