Violent Rollover Crash on Highway 281 Kills Pedestrian [San Antonio, TX]

SAPD Investigates Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Collision near Embassy Oaks

San Antonio, TX (November 18, 2023) On Wednesday evening, a pedestrian died after a rollover crash on Highway 281.

According to the SAPD, the fatal collision happened at about 9:30 p.m. on the southbound Highway 281 access road, near Embassy Oaks in front of the Hooters restaurant.

Reports say that the driver of a sedan traveling on the access road lost control and veered off the roadway, causing the car to roll over and crashed into a sidewalk were a male pedestrian was walking.

Medics transported the man to the hospital, however police at the scene says that the man died from his injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers.

Authorities are investigating the auto-pedestrian collision and have not provided updated information at this time.
