According to the Harlingen Police Department (HPD), the solo-vehicle crash happened on Ed Carey Drive near Clarke Street.
Reports say that a Ford Sport Trac lost control and rolled over causing road closures and power outages.
Authorities say that the crash sent two occupants of the vehicle to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities have closed Ed Carey Drive between Haine Drive, 23rd Street, 25th Street, and Loop 499 as the investigation continues.

Always Drive Safely
When driving, always be mindful of traffic laws and road conditions. If you encounter a vehicle or driver behaving erratically—whether by weaving between lanes, tailgating, or speeding, give them plenty of space. It’s often best to change lanes and stay clear of dangerous drivers.
If you or a loved one has been injured in a rollover accident, prioritize medical care and consult with legal professionals to safeguard your rights.
Seek Legal Help
Despite the advancements in vehicle safety, the road accident rate in Texas continues to rise. Unfortunately, a traffic accident-free life can never be guaranteed. However, having skilled legal experts on your side can significantly impact the outcome of the aftermath.
Horrific traffic accidents remind us that traffic accidents remain a serious public health issue. Motor vehicle accidents are one of the leading causes of death for individuals aged 5 to 64. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), two out of three drivers will be involved in an injury accident at some point.
