One Person Severely Injured in Santa Barbara Car Crash
SANTA BARBRA, CA (April 29, 2019) – One person was injured in a rollover crash on Highway 154 Monday morning.
California Highway Patrol responded to the crash at 2:00 AM along the San Marcos Pass near Camp Whittier.
According to officials, the vehicle crashed twenty feet into a steep embankment and landed on its roof. It is unclear how many people were involved in the crash.
One person was severely injured and had to be pulled out of the car. As a result, the victim were transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. However, there has been no update on their medical condition.
Due to the collision, CHP officers closed the westbound lanes for a period of time. There has been no further information released regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident as it is still under investigation.
