Rodrigo Torres and Angela Bray Killed in Tragic Crash on Avenue Q [Lubbock, TX]

Lubbock, TX (December 12, 2023) On Saturday evening, 23-year-old Rodrigo Torres and 41-year-old Angela Bray died and 24-year-old Princeton Ugwu was hurt in a tragic crash on Avenue Q.

According to the Lubbock Police Department, the fatal collision happened at the 5600 block of S Avenue Q.

Reports say that 2 passenger vehicles collided in the area. First responders arrived at the scene and found Bray and Torres inside one of the involved vehicles, officials declared both dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, Ugwu was in the other passenger car, officials say that Ugwu sustained serious injuries and was rushed by EMD to UMC.

Authorities say that Ugwu was driving northbound on S Avenue Q when hi s vehicle collided with the westbound vehicle driven by Bray. Officials say that after the initial crash both involved vehicles crashed into parked vehicles.

Police are investigating the fatal accident.
