Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 823 Near Golf Course Loop Road Hospitalizes 59-Year-Old Man
SELAH, WA (January 11, 2018) – Rodney L. French from Selah was hospitalized on Thursday night, after being hit by another car on the 823 Highway near Golf Course Loop Road, around 9:30 PM.
According to the Washington State Patrol, French was driving south in his 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis on State Route 823, when an unidentified southbound car crashed into him. After the incident, the second driver fled from the scene.
The 59-year-old man sustained injuries and was transported by medics to the Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital. His current condition is unknown.
Police officials continue to their search to find the hit-and-run driver. Descriptions of the driver and car have not been provided.
