Rodijah Peters Hurt, Christina Espinoza Involved in Pedestrian Collision on Vallejo Street
PETALUMA, CA (February 26, 2019) – A 77-year-old woman was injured Friday evening in a pedestrian accident on East Washington and Vallejo streets.
Rodijah Peters was walking in a crosswalk around 6:50 p.m., when she was hit by a westbound vehicle. Christina Espinoza was identified as the 47-year-old driver who struck Peters. Espinoza, of Littleton, Colorado stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
The victim was brought to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major internal injuries. Furthermore, she was in stable condition as of Monday.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call Officer Spencer Neve at 707‑778‑4372.
