Police Arrest Alexander Cruz Galindo for Clovis Hit-And-Run That Left Rod Lawley Dead
Clovis, CA (June 10, 2021) – Thursday night, pedestrian Rod Lawley, 54, sustained fatal injuries after a hit-and-run crash near Shaw and Peach Avenues.
Moreover, the deadly Clovis hit-and-run accident happened just after 10 p.m. on June 10.
The Clovis Police Department said they found the pedestrian down in the roadway. There was neither a car nor a driver at the crash scene.
Emergency crews then took the pedestrian to the hospital, but the victim, Rod Lawley, was later pronounced dead.
Ultimately, police later found and arrested the hit and run driver, 43-year-old Alexander Cruz Galindo.
Cruz Galindo is now facing felony hit-and-run charges, but is currently released on bail.
