Bakersfield, CA (September 22, 2022) – At about 9:38 p.m. on Wednesday, a man lost his life following the Roberts Lane hit-and-run crash.

The authorities immediately responded to the crash scene west of Belmont Avenue.

According to the officers, the man was walking outside of a crosswalk in the second westbound lane when an unknown westbound pick-up truck struck him.

The pedestrian incurred major injuries and was rushed to Kern Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The pick-up truck driver, on the other hand, fled the scene.
