Coachella, CA (July 31, 2024) – Robert Villa, 37, of Coachella, was fatally hit by a vehicle on Grapefruit Boulevard Tuesday night.

It was about 10:40 p.m. when the fatal collision happened at the intersection with Cesar Chavez Street.

Troopers said the involved driver remained at the accident scene and called 911.
