Eisenhower High School Hit-and-Run Crash Injures Two Teenagers
Rialto, CA (December 25, 2021) – On December 10, 58-year-old Robert Verdin of Rialto was involved in a hit-and-run crash at Eisenhower High School injuring two teenagers.
The officers responded to the scene at 5:09 p.m. and found the injured teenagers.
Moreover, investigators said a vehicle struck the victims while crossing the street inside the crosswalk. The involved vehicle immediately fled the scene after the crash.
Right away, the medics took the teenagers to a local hospital with injuries.
Finally, with the help of a concerned citizen, the authorities were able to locate the suspect vehicle in the city of Ontario.
They arrested Robert Verdin and booked him into custody with felony hit-and-run charges.
May this incident be a reminder for all motorists to drive responsibly. Moreover, drivers should also keep in mind that distracted driving, speeding, and driving inebriated will lead to dangerous road accidents.
What To Do in Case of Accidents
Indeed, while driving is essential for many, it is one of the most dangerous daily maneuvers. It is therefore important to know what to do if you find yourself in a traffic collision.
On the AAA Foundation Website, chief executive officer Peter Kissinger repeatedly labeled the epidemic of motor vehicle-related accidents a “public health crisis.”
Mark Sweet, a personal injury attorney at Sweet Lawyers, says that serious car accident cases may call for a separate investigation spearheaded by an experienced lawyer. A lawyer will make sure their victims get the proper compensation due to them.
