Robert Valenzuela Arrested after Hit-and-Run Crash on Los Reales Road [Tucson, AZ]

TUCSON, AZ (September 9, 2021) – Tuesday night, authorities arrested Robert Valenzuela after a hit-and-run crash on Los Reales Road.
 
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department came to the scene just after 11:30 p.m. Moreover, it occurred at the intersection of Los Reales Road and Camino Libertad.
 
The PCSD said that 38-year-old Robert Valenzuela hit a pedestrian with his vehicle. Then, he escaped the crash scene.
 
Moreover, Valenzuela headed west on Los Reales Road where he struck a utility pole after a failed left turn.
 
“Mr. Valenzuela abandoned his vehicle and was detained while walking away from the scene. The pedestrian was transported to a local area hospital with life-threatening injuries,” PCSD added.
 
At this time, the criminal charges remain pending and authorities continue to investigate the crash.
