35-Year-Old Robert Valderrama Killed in Monterey Road Collision [Morgan Hill, CA]

Morgan Hill, CA (November 16, 2024) – 35-year-old Robert Valderrama of Morgan Hill was fatally injured following a Monterey Road collision Thursday afternoon.

It was about 1:55 p.m. when the deadly traffic accident happened at the intersection with Live Oak Avenue.

CHP said the Robert Valderrama was traveling south when he ran a red light on Monterey Road and was struck by a Freightliner truck turning left onto the same road..

Valderrama’s car was thrown onto another car that was stopped at a red light toward another direction. Both of the vehicles overturned.

Robert Valderrama was rushed to a hospital where he died. 

The driver of the other car overturned was hospitalized with major injuries.

Meanwhile, the debris from the collision struck another car. Luckily, the driver was not hurt. 

Similarly, the Freightliner’s driver was also not hurt.

Investigators do not believe drugs and alcohol were factors in the collision.
