Robert Rodarte Arrested in Bakersfield Bicycle Accident on Stockdale Highway
BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 21, 2020) – Saturday night, authorities arrested Robert Rodarte after a bicycle crash on Stockdale Highway.
The emergency crews responded just before 10:30 p.m. on Stockdale Highway and Stine Road. When they arrived, they located a bicyclist injured in the road. According to reports, the injuries were moderate.
Meanwhile, the police later arrested the 44-year-old male driver who fled the scene. They identified the suspect as Robert Rodarte. The officers detained him for DUI, hit-and-run causing injury, and driving with a suspended license, Lt. Nathan McCauley revealed.
The DUI crash on Stockdale Highway remains under active investigation.
