Robert Paul Willie Dies after Two-Vehicle Crash on North Alvernon Way in Tucson
Tucson, AZ (November 7, 2022) – On Sunday, 79-year-old Robert Paul Willie died in a two-vehicle crash that happened on November 4.
Tucson Police said Willie was driving a 2005 Honda Civic southbound on Alvernon and was making a left turn onto Lee Street when someone driving a 2015 Kia Optima hit him.
EMS took him to Banner-University Medical Center with reportedly minor injuries, but he died on Friday.
Investigators said neither driver showed signs of impairment.
Further investigation into this crash is ongoing.
