LUFKIN, TX (December 9, 2023) – Tuesday night, Robert Green sustained injuries in a startling pedestrian crash on 600 W Frank Avenue.

The incident happened at about 8:50 p.m. in the 600 block of W Frank Avenue.

According to reports, “Red” was walking in the road when an eastbound Nissan Altima hit him.

Red is expected to recover but his recovery will be lengthy after sustaining numerous broken bones and a head injury.

He underwent one surgery and remains stable as of Friday night.
