Robert Flores Killed in Rollover Crash on Ramona Expressway [NUEVO, CA]

Morning Rollover Crash on Ramona Expressway in Nuevo Kills 1 and Injures Another

 
NUEVO, CA (September 28, 2019) – A man was killed in a rollover crash Saturday morning in western Riverside County.
 
The crash happened around 5:35 p.m. on Ramona Expressway near Martin Street.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and found a silver Mercedes that had overturned, leaving the driver and a passenger trapped inside the mangled vehicle.
 
Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extricate the two victims. Paramedics rushed one of them to Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley, where the patient later died.
 
The coroner’s office identified the deceased as Robert Flores, 25, of Cathedral City.
 
The second patient sustained minor injuries.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the cause of the crash.
