Jorge Romero Arrested for Fatal Upland DUI Hit-And-Run Crash
Upland, CA (December 13, 2021) – On Sunday, 42-year-old Robert Meyer of Fontana lost his life in a motorcycle crash on North 13th Avenue.
Officers immediately responded to the crash scene at the intersection with East 9th Street, wherein a vehicle was also involved.
The emergency responders took Meyer to San Antonio Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:22 p.m.
Later reports revealed that Jorge Romero, of Highland, left the scene of the accident after hitting Meyer and his bike.
Shortly after, police discovered the assailant and arrested him for rrested for manslaughter, felony hit-and-run, and drunk driving.
